His only motive is to eradicate the monstrous beings known as “Slitterheads” crawling around the city, disguising themselves as humans. Best-known for his work on the soundtrack for the Silent Hill video game series, the Japanese musician Akira Yamaoka composed the soundtrack. As the master of aural gloom and suspense, Yamaoka wanted to create a sound blended into into the game and matched the feel of an action game with horror elements.
