Created in September 1986, the Master of The Children's Choir of Saint-Marc is part of the highest quality Children's Choirs. Several dozen concerts and shows per year have brought the children to many countries around the world, such as the United States, Canada, Russia, Lebanon, Greece, Ivory Coast, Japan as Master of La Basilique Notre-Dame de Fourviere in Lyon (since 1995), the choir regularly takes part in the masses of this sanctuary.
Revealed to a larger audience by the film "The Chorus", the voices of the choir are praised for their professionalism, emotion and sensitivity. Many festival regularly invite them. This homogeneity is the result of a one of a kid connection between the choir's conductor, Nicolas Porte, founder of the choir, and the children who rehearse on a daily basis surrounded by their professors of vocal technique, and musical formation.
Several recordings are marks of the Choir's evolution. The repertoire focuses on sacred music, a cappella, with organ and orchestra.
