Out Now: Longlegs (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)
We’re thrilled to announce the release of Longlegs (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack), featuring original score composed by Zilgi for Osgood Perkins’ highly-anticipated thriller. Hailed as one of the decade’s best horror films, Longlegs follows an FBI agent (played by horror icon Maika Monroe) on a harrowing quest to catch a deranged serial killer (played by the legandary Nicolas Cage)
Longlegs demanded a soundscape as haunting as its plot, and Zilgi delivered with a blend of dark, foreboding synths, warped instrumentation, and subliminal sound design elements. Collaborating closely with sound designer and editor Eugenio Battaglia, who contributes two tracks to the album, Zilgi has created a soundtrack that is grippingly evocative and subtly hypnotic, perfectly complementing the film’s terrifying narrative. Not much is known about Zilgi, but the reclusive composer describes himself as a “humanoid vessel for the delivery of sounds and songs.”
