I Heart Huckabees Music By Jon Brion

Milan Records is proud to release the soundtrack to Fox Searchlight’s I Heart Huckabees on October 12, 2004. Consisting of Jon Brion‘s eclectic pop score and 5 vocal songs including Knock Yourself Out!. Jon Brion is instrumental in the sound of today’s music scene. He was a member of The Grays, whose album Ro Sham Bo was a masterpiece of power pop (along with Jason Falkner, Buddy Judge, and Dan McCarroll). Jon was responsible for much of the sound of Aimee Mann‘s first two solo albums, contributed much to the sound of Fiona Apple‘s albums, notably her debut, Tidal, and has worked with such artists as Nina Gordon, Elliott Smith, Sam Phillips, E (and the Eels), Robyn Hitchcock, Jude Cole, Jimmie Dale Gilmore, David Byrne, Brian Stevens, and Dan Castellaneta, among others.
