Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross’ QUEER Score is Coming to Vinyl
At last, Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross’ acclaimed score for Luca Guadagnino’s QUEER is now available for pre-order on vinyl. Announced earlier this week through a series of teased close up photos, the release features select highlights from the duo’s evocative original soundtrack, including the haunting end credits piece, “Vaster Than Empires,” performed by Caetano Veloso and Reznor. A mesmerizing sound collage of overlapping lyrics and textures, the track draws inspiration from William S. Burroughs’ final diary entry, adding a poetic and haunting layer to the film’s closing moments.

Pressed on 180-gram translucent cobalt vinyl, this collectible vinyl edition comes housed in a bespoke gatefold jacket with printed sleeves featuring original collage artwork. The design pays homage to Burroughs’ signature cut-up technique, incorporating previously unreleased behind-the-scenes film photography, an excerpt from Burroughs’ handwritten final diary entry, and other visual ephemera drawn from and inspired by the film’s world.
Releasing everywhere December 12, this carefully curated vinyl edition is a must-have for fans of Guadagnino’s visionary, surreal method of storytelling and Reznor & Ross’ immersive compositions. Pre-order here.
