From director Ferdinando Cito Filomarino  and produced by Luca Guadagnino, Beckett is a must-see mysterious thriller that’ll keep you guessing. While vacationing in Greece, American tourist Beckett (John David Washington) becomes the target of a manhunt after a devastating accident. Desperate to get to the American embassy and clear his name, Beckett gets tangled in a dangerous web of conspiracies. 

The surreal, man on the run story is accompanied by a suspenseful score courtesy of legendary composer & musician Ryuichi Sakamoto. Also featured on the soundtrack is the film’s ethereal trailer & end credit song “Born to Be” written & performed by Devonté Hynes (of Blood Orange).

Beckett originally made its world premiere at the 74th Locarno Film Festival and debuts exclusively on Netflix Friday, August 13.
